Cooking and weaving have much in common. Both use recipes with a list of “ingredients” and amounts, create something often more than the sum of its parts, and bring joy to the maker and recipient. Raddles help keep a warp spread evenly as it is wound onto the warp beam. Ours can be attached to either a back beam or the shuttle race of the beater. The raddles come with plated pins inserted every inch; if you prefer half-inch spacing, you can install extra pins (included) in every hole.

All raddles come with clamp blocks that fit our Standard Floor Looms and many other brands.

Wolf Pup Raddles also include U-brackets that sit on the rear oval beam. These universal brackets fit all Wolf looms.

Slim hook fits our 15-dent rigid heddle reed. Heddle hook handles come in assorted colors; your hook may differ from the photo.

Made to hold medium to heavy yarns, ski shuttles are designed so that the yarn is wrapped horizontally around the top of the ski. The smooth bottom slides smoothly across the warp.  They are available in 18" and 24" lengths.

Tapestry weaving just got easier with the Arras Trap. Place your Trap on the Arras Tapestry Loom above the shedding device so that your tools are always where you need them. If you've got an Arras Stand, you can add a Trap to the Loom and a Trap to the Stand for extra storage.

Our loom bench is a beautiful companion piece to our Wolf and Standard floor looms. The bench seat height is adjustable from 19″ to 24″ and has been designed to offer you a flat or slanted seat position. The bench is free of side posts, which allows you to move around unrestricted. Below the seat is a storage bin for holding your accessories. Our optional bench bags can be purchased with the bench or added later. The bags are made of durable Cordura cloth and can be mounted on either or both sides of the bench seat.

Wolf Raddles come with U-brackets that sit on the rear oval beam. These universal brackets fit all Wolf looms. You can also use the clamp blocks to attach the raddle to the beater bottom.

This "handi" tool is designed for weavers with impaired physical strength or limited hand mobility to assist when turning the handles to advance the warp on Ashford looms. The handi handle is simply placed over the existing nylon handle of your loom and turned gently. 

This product is not necessary for weavers without impairments, or weakness or other hand and arm ailments. 

PLEASE NOTE: We strongly recommend only using sufficient warp tension for your project. Do not over tighten. Too much tension will make weaving harder, reduce the shed and could damage your loom. 

The Handi Handles comes in two sizes:

Belt shuttles are similar to stick shuttles but have one beveled edge to beat the weft into place. Use a belt shuttle for inkle and card weaving.

Reeds are available for differing yarns. The 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10dpi (10, 20, 30 and 40/10cm) reeds feature the wide eye for novelty yarns. The fine 12.5dpi (50/10cm) and the NEW extra fine 15dpi (60/10) reeds are also available. Made from strong, durable nylon with Silver Beech rails.

This beautifully shaped and well balanced boat shuttle has been designed to reduce warp thread pick-up when weaving on a table loom, while still remaining ergonomic to hold and throw. Suitable for standard nylon or paper bobbins.

Boat Shuttle 29cm (11½”) includes 1 nylon bobbin.

 What a great place to keep it all—cones, spools, yarn balls, and tools. A convenient top holds swifts, ball and bobbin winders, and other equipment. Our winding station includes 8 cone holders and a rod for 4 to 6 spools, with guide hooks along both sides of the mid-level shelf. Every studio needs one!

The assembled winding station measures 30" wide x 18" deep x 36" high.

 Schacht End Delivery Shuttles are the ultimate in shuttles, designed especially and precisely for handweavers. They are lightweight, comfortable to throw and catch, adjustable to a variety of yarns, and easy—really easy—to thread. Our end delivery shuttles are available in 12″ and 15″ sizes.

How the end delivery shuttle works: The end delivery shuttle uses a pirn that remains stationary, instead of a free-spinning bobbin. The weft yarn unwinds off the pirn’s tip when the shuttle is in motion and stops unwinding when the shuttle stops. The yarn comes off the pirn and goes through a set of tension pads and comes out of the shuttle at a constant tension. This even delivery of weft causes less draw-in, which in turn makes better selvedges.

Resist the temptation to handle the weft yarn at all. Simply adjust the tension with the enclosed allen wrench to suit the yarn you are using and allow your shuttle to do the work. You’ll love how you can weave more rapidly than ever.

You’ll need pirns to go with your shuttle:

• 12″ shuttle takes 6″ pirns
• 15″ shuttle takes 8″ pirns

Use a double end or electric bobbin winder for pirns.

The optional Arras Treadle Kit adds even more efficiency to your weaving. Space treadles to your individual preference, then operate the shedding device with your feet.
